Note from the Owners

If you’re considering renting Chalet Artemisia during the ski season, don’t hesitate! We’ve had such fun holidays with friends and family and having rented it out for 4 ski seasons, we have only ever had positive reviews with the majority of guests booking again. The chalet has plenty of space to comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 families, it really is an amazing place.

A Home Away from Home
Chalet Artemisia is bright, well-designed, and spacious, with separate living and dining areas, a big open kitchen (so meal preparation can be an easy group effort), stunning mountain views, a large terrace, mezzanine and entertainment options like a wide selection of board games. For unwinding, there’s a hammam, sauna, and a large bathtub. Honestly, staying in can be a pleasure!

Ski Levels? No Problem!
Inevitably ski levels vary which is always a consideration when planning a ski holiday and thats why we love this chalet and its location. Whether you’re an avid skier, an off-piste lover, a total beginner, or even someone who prefers not to ski at all, Chalet Artemisia is perfectly set up for everyone to have a great time. Non-skiers can enjoy the chalet’s comforts, while beginners and pros can explore the slopes at their own pace. You won’t feel pressured to keep up with anyone else, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Ski Access and Location
As passionate skiers ourselves, we love how well-connected Chalet Artemisia is to the surrounding ski areas. It’s just one lift ride “home” from Les Arc 1800, 1950, 2000, Vallandry, and the Vanoise Express in Peisey Vallandry. This means you can ski across these fantastic domains and still make it back easily—whether it’s for a quick lunch, short break or you simply want a shorter ski day. It also means you can be the last on the piste enjoying the stunning sunset home. Heading to La Plagne on the Vanoise Express can be a fantastic full day out and the chalets location enables you to make the most of it.

For Après-Ski or Nightlife Fans
If you’re in the mood to party, “La Folie Douce,” followed by a 10-minute moonlit ski back to the chalet is very entertaining. For something a bit more low-key but still lively, Mont Blanc Bar across the piste is a good option, staying open until around 2 a.m. (The older teens in our groups have had their fair share of fun nights there!)

Convenience at Your Fingertips
We know how important it is to have access to essentials, and the chalet’s location ticks that box as well. There’s a shuttle connecting you to Vallandry and Peisey Vallandry, which together offer a selection of bars, fantastic restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, shops, a pharmacy, and even a doctor’s surgery—just in case. If you’re dining in, you can ski back with your groceries or walk down (around 10mins if you’re walking on the road) after the slopes close. Catering is also an option—we’ve loved having delicious home-cooked meals either cooked for us in the chalet or delivered.

Warm, Local Support
One of the things that makes Chalet Artemisia extra special is the personal touch. We have a fantastic young lady who will meet and greet you when you arrive. She was born and raised in the valley, so she knows the area inside-out and is incredibly helpful and responsive if you have any questions during your stay.

Addressing Your Concerns
We understand that every group have unique questions or concerns when planning a holiday/booking a chalet. Please, therefore, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d be very happy to answer your questions or provide more details.

We look forward to hearing from you,
